I know some multi-family properties are listed, but is there a separate search engine for these types of properties?
Any help is much appreciated!

Listing agent tells my (buyer’s) agent that seller may hire a new agent and the short sale will continue with me as buyer. But My agent feels that seller may start the process afresh with new listing agent or may completely withdraw the property from the market as the property values have risen in the area.
Its very confusing but I have no idea who is telling the truth. Do I have a chance here? Can somebody help me understand what could be happening here.

Frank, I’ve been reading a lot from your site to include blogs, etc. Very interesting stuff. I’ve just recently gotten serious about purchasing a home/townhouse in the Arlington/Alexandria area. Although RedFin appears tempting, I am having reservations. I enjoy the “do the research yourself” approach as I am a researcher, but I’m concerned about their willingness to put up a good fight for their clients. I don’t expect to pay $350 for a $400 house, but I want to know that the agent is definitely fighting for me instead of just looking at that 1.5% commission. I know you have said that you aren’t anti-redfin, but for a first-time buyer, do you think the piece of mind of being with a dedicated agent trumps a few thousand dollars in commission return? More importantly….how can I hire you? :) You seem extremely knowledgable about the area. Thanks….wait, did I ask you a question? Long day.

This would prevent missing listings in a area you’d like to live in without having to use maps to find each town or zipcode, even then you can miss some.
Or if the map could just list everything in the price range without a keyword.
