Not really sure if you can find out how many they have closed but you can find out if they are distressed property certified by recent designations that can be earned by a realtor. That will at least show you that they have been trained in the process. Some agent shy away from this type of sale. Unfortunately, many,many properties in our current market are either short sales or foreclosure sales. A good, experienced, active agent should be able to help.
