Figured it expired in April…but not sure if this is correct. I’d still like to be able to get my first home and get the tax credit.

The answer is maybe. If you don’t have a contract dated 4/30/10 or earlier then the answer is no. If you have one dated before that, then you have until 6/30/10 to close to still get it. Currently Congress is debating on whether or not to extend the 6/30/10 deadline, possibly until 9/30/10.
